Background and Objectives: Artificial Intelligence (AI), as one of the most advanced technologies today, plays a significant role in scientific and educational transformations. This modern technology, capable of analyzing big data and making precise predictions, is used to provide solutions for enhancing individual skills. The present study aimed to determine the impact of AI on the personal development skills of students in the Educational Planning program at Allameh Tabataba’i University, focusing on four sub-skills: (analysis of educational needs, educational assessment methods, design of educational programs, and leadership and teamwork skills).

methods: This descriptive-correlational study used a researcher-made questionnaire (24 AI items and 45 personal development skills items) administered to 30 Educational Planning students via census sampling. The instrument's validity was confirmed by six experts (CVI=0.89), and its reliability was verified with a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.87 for the entire questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using SPSS software, employing Pearson correlation and regression tests.

Findings: The results indicated that AI has a significant positive effect on all dimensions of personal development skills (P<0.01). The highest correlation coefficients were observed in educational needs analysis (r=0.49, R²=0.31) and group leadership (r=0.48, R²=0.29). Furthermore, AI systems explained 36.8% of the variance in personal development skills through personalized feedback (F=49.7).

Conclusion: AI, as an innovative educational tool, has substantial potential to enhance students' personal development skills and strengthens their acquisition of competencies essential for future professional success. It is recommended that higher education authorities facilitate the improvement of these skills by organizing AI training workshops
